main contact, point person, problem solver, troubleshooter , delegatoron every production from inception to final delivery. responsible for insuring every moving part of a production project organizing sourcing, prioritizingthe project proactively , all moving parts for any given project from inception to final delivery within budgetary lines, production schedule, following labor laws, union and guild contracted guidelines, safety standards (osha) responsible for tracking project costs on a moment by moment basis working actual budget. report hot costs to accounting/execs. in charge of scheduling all necessary source crew and vendors. negotiate deals with crew, vendors, locations, venues. communicate with agents when sourcing certain crew, talent, celebrity talent. as well as negotiate contracts for said players, crew, etc. with agents, (negotiating time, rates, travel days, down days, talent ryder’s, etc. ) oversee/manage each department communicate relevant job information , oversee production crew , production manager has finger on every aspect of a production from beginning to end and is the point person in dealing with any possible situation. map out/plan entire project (event planner) which is a fast moving, ever changing machine with many elements and moving parts. .
