Directed and shot this short video using local community members rather than actors and shooting all footage on location in Gilliam County to tell the story of how trash from the Portland-Metro area creates jobs & opportunities in a community 3 hours away.

Assisted the production coordinator with office duties, shuttled cast & crew from lodging to basecamp to location and back, and helped our Key PA on set when available.

All pre-production scheduling, creating of cast & crew deals, assisted the production manager with crew recommendations before the shoot. Once we were rolling I handled inter-departmental communications, ran the set to keep us on schedule & get all the content we needed, prepared Call Sheets day-to-day, and performed 2nd Unit Director responsibilities.

Built a 5-day shooting schedule for this short film and worked closely with the Director, Production Manager, and Producers to make sure that our crew was taken care of while we worked hard to get every scene in the final script shot, with each shot on the Director's shot list.

Hired initially as Key Grip, I assisted with camera rigging and lighting for this 1-hr. special and then was assigned the role of capturing B-roll and POV footage of all the areas that our host & interviewee had visited while the DP continued getting interview and travel footage.

Built a 20ft. silk to cover talent alongside a scenic river and then shot in 3 Arri M18's with diffusion to bring up the separation and highlight our interviewer & interviewee.

This was a short film that I shot with a frequent collaborator, Director Ross Williams. I shot mostly on a Steadicam Rig with some handheld work as well. We primarily used 11-16mm lenses, but also incorporated some nice Nikon Macros for sickening close-ups of bone-ripping gore.

Remote audio recording for live cooking demonstrations and travel sequences. Using a shotgun and 2 lavalieres, I mixed the audio through a Sound Devices 302 and captured either Stereo or Multi-mix (depending on the unique situation) to a Zoom H4n. I also assisted the production by setting and shaping lighting.

Jib setup and basic grip & lighting duties. Also assisted with rigging a Canon 5d Mark III and some GoPro cameras to our "hero cart" and worked as a stunt driver.

Sound recording and mixing of 2 wireless lavalier mics and 1 shotgun boom mic.

Using Canon Cinema Lenses, a 14ft. crane, 12+ft. straight dolly, and a handful of tungsten balanced photo floods and softboxes, I shot this short film for 2nd-time director Kristopher J. Ballard. Principal photography ran for only 3.5 days, and the finished film should end up between 12-15 minutes.

Shooting over 5 days in mostly low-light and nightime locations, I shot this film for director Alex Williams on Canon Prime Lenses. The final film, clocking in at just under 25 minutes, won "Best Film" at the 2013 Killer Valley Horror Film Festival.

This campy satire of vampire stories won "Best Feature" at the 2013 LA Vampire Festival in Los Angeles, CA. Shot on weekends & evenings over the course of a couple months in Southern Oregon on a less-than-microbudget for director Ray Robison.
