Write engaging audio scripts detailing a different historical/scientific subject. Research and pitch exciting subjects for a kids/family educational podcast. Some episodes include: Wombats, Cheese, Amelia Earhart, Big Foot, Ants, The Periodic Table, and Pirates!

Wrote and directed interactive family education adventure mini-series featuring multiple modules, for viewing on-line, and in classroom and museum theaters. Camps, such as Space Camp and Dinosaur Camp, were comprised of information that I researched and vetted, and included live interactive elements, real-time Q&A messaging, and printable worksheets and activities. I also collaborated with the producers in booking venues, procuring props/costumes, hiring talent, and directing the talent on set.

Drafted story and script for animated television content promoting app games: Adventure Capitalist and Adventure Communist. Hired and directed voice talent, directed drafting of storyboards, and oversaw animation process -in tandem with the game production team- to ensure quality production, brand fidelity, and on-time deliveries.

I imagine and construct complete worlds and the characters who inhabit them, crafting show bibles, episode outlines, music and lyrics, and polished scripts. Frequently, I manage story artists, visual designers and production team leads to see projects through to completion.

I designed new interactive game elements to introduce cross-platform play, incorporating V/R options, episodic programming, social media and live events into quest narratives. Also responsible for coordinating the writing and visual design teams to perfect world bible, boards and scripts.

I managed the writing team and mentored junior writers, polished scripts, addressed network notes, ensured deadlines were met and kept series bible updated. Additionally, I led story pitch meetings, attended executive meetings and coordinated with multiple departments (art, production, editing) to preemptively overcome challenges while maintaining narrative fidelity.

I pitched episode concepts, wrote treatments, and scripted teleplays. I helped to clarify narrative tone and character voice for burgeoning projects, contributing new world attributes and rules.

I collaborated as puzzle master and comedy writer to create fun and funny questions, tasks and problems for competitive programming. I regularly worked (in Photoshop or Illustrator) to build visual representations of games either for, or in tandem with, the art department.
