Summary

Emmy-winning Producer/DP & seasoned doc/reality vet with thick skin, extensive audio & rigging exp. Story & difficult people are my specialty; playing dumb is my superpower. Long days, bad haircuts, adverse locales, & adaptation are not a problem.

My primary responsibility was to shoot story, supporting beats, inserts, and pick ups, manage an AC and the location, and to collaborate with the producers to get what we needed to make compelling TV. Another responsibility, as I see it, was to keep my head involved it what was happening environmentally and otherwise, in order to keep cast and crew trudging forward when things got bad.

9/16 – 9/16

Producer/Shooter (Solo producer shooter from 4am to midnight. Sony Z7, GoPros) Swamp People 8

HISTORY — Reality/Doc (TV) — Original Media Details
9/16 – 9/16

My job was to get myself either to the talent's house by 4:30am or the Swamp by 5:45. Produce and shoot story, take notes, and cover the day's events from morning coffee and commute to gator sales, and sometimes the family gathering for an evening supper with their day's catch.... But it didn't end there, because after that was all done, I had to get myself and my gear back to the hotel to charge all batteries, drop off media, and get my notes to the story producers before waking up and doing it all over again.
