Negotiated with vendors to secure the best rate and tracked each purchase, from petty cash to large footage orders, to stay within budget. Rigorously searched for historical b-roll, performance footage and photos to make sure all of the beats in the script were covered. Acted as liaison between editors, producers and talent, handling any request and fielding any questions. Supervised and assigned responsibilities to production assistants while making sure deadlines were met.

Assisted in bringing the editor’s vision to life by finding stock footage and music for each episode. Purchased equipment and office supplies and managed purchase orders and expenses.

Assisted all producers and post management staff from pre-production through final delivery, including QC and delivering tapes and DVDs to Fox and Warner Bros.

Researched the lives of musicians, including finding court documents, police records and news articles to inform the script. Obtained photographs, B-roll footage, albums and audio recordings for editors. Assisted all producers and post management staff from pre-production through final delivery.
