CGI Communications provides the eLocal Video platform which gives small towns and the business therein a complete video promotional package. For the towns we shoot very complete profiles of the town makeup and it activities. For local businesses we shoot 30 second to 2 minute video promos for the business. These promos are essentially small full featured commercials. CGI typically allocates only a few hours of shoot time which has trained me to think very fast on my feet in terms of capturing the business, its products and services and clients in a fast but effective manner. You can see my work on the town web sites of Brunswick Maine, Wiscasset Maine, North Yarmouth Maine, and Portland Maine.

I was DOP on George Dalphin's film NeuroPhreak. NeuroPhreak is more of an art film with a range of green screen usage to create a world in which our interface with what has become social media is completely wet wired. In this linked world one man finds a way to move his consciousness from person to person and ultimately to everyone simultaneously. Only one person can stop him.

Director of Photography (DP) (Sony FS700) – The Poet
Film (Short) — Erin Enberg Productions Details
7/15 – 8/15
As DOP I worked with Erin the writer and director of the Poet on the look of her film. Erin provided a number of reference images and looks she liked from other films and we worked to capture the looks of those films as we shot the Poet. In that regard I handled directing my G&E team to light each scene to the best of our abilities given the limited budget and gear set we had to work with.

A gripped on this film. I enjoy shooting but I am happy to grip. I can offer references that will attest to my strong work ethic. The best part of working on this film was getting to spend some time talking to Mr. Thomas Ackerman the DP.

Director of Photography (DP) (Sony FS700) – Alone In The Dark
Film (Feature-length) — MH2 Photo and Video Details
6/13 – 6/13
As the DP I created the shot list for this very minimalist short film. Technically it was performed like a stage play and as such camera position/movement and lighting were limited. We made the best of it under the circumstances.
