Michael is an excellent DP. He is very skilled at what he does and he has the knowledge and experience to meet the needs of complicated projects. My favorite thing about working with Michael is that he is very adept at understanding what the emotiona ...MORE...
l needs of a scene/project are and he knows how to communicate in this way as well. You can find DPs that have technical skills, but it is rare to find one who is well versed technically and also has emotional intelligence and the skill palette to be able to draw from both in order to produce the best work.
I have come to really depend on Michael as a DP and as a source of knowledge about filmmaking in general and he has absolutely become a trusted collaborator of mine. I know that I am not the only person that feels this way about working with Michael.
I cannot recommend working with Michael enough. He really goes the extra mile for projects, is very knowledgeable, and fun to be on set with.
