The goal of Reel Lives’ is to support students to have their own, authentic voices be heard, improve their livelihoods, recover from trauma, and to create professional grade documentaries centered on their own stories that can be used to educate and advocate around human rights issues.

Show runner for a hybrid magazine series, ABC News Beyond Belief on OWN, hosted by Wes Moore. We combined re-packaged ABC News stories with original pieces within a traditional themes magazine framework.

Managed teams who produced original stories, worked with Nightline EP and other Producers at ABC on repackaged material, directed in the studio, wrote scripts, liaison with OWN and ABC brass.

Developed 9x90 minute-plus live events around science and the arts in NYC. Moderated panels of scientists, my events included 4 Nobelists and a host of gifted musicians and performance artists in venues like The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Galapagos, Three Legged Dog, The Hayden Planetarium, The Moth/The Players Club, etc.
