During my time at the Rachael Ray Show I assisted with a variety of departments in doing research for segments and going on runs. During production, I worked with the audience department by helping to load audiences in and out during three show days, organizing and distributing giveaways and distributing the proper release forms for the audience members to fill out. At the end of my internship I was given the opportunity to shadow one the stage managers at the show in order to receive a more in-depth understanding of the inner workings and communication that happens on the floor during a taping, which was an extremely valuable experience in broadening my understanding of television production.
