Freelance cinematographer and ICG Local 600 camera and steadicam operator. He earned his BA in Cinematography at Columbia College Chicago and his MFA in cinematography at the American Film Institute Conservatory and is currently an active member of the SOC (Society of Camera Operators). Creation through contrast and juxtaposition is a concept Nich frequently explores as he focuses strongly on mood and motivation in his work in order to strengthen storytelling as well as creatively and effectively engage an audience.
