Nick Zachar is a multimedia producer and filmmaker currently pursuing his MFA in Film and Electronic Media at American University. Nick's background in Biology has taken him to the Virgin Islands, where he traveled with a team of biologists on an expedition to aid efforts in the conservation of a critically endangered species of iguana. I am currently in production of an independent documentary about an island in the Caribbean called Saba and the people are are actively conserving it's natural treasures that are being threatened by climate and ocean changes. I am the producer/director, and was assistant camera during production. I am also lead editor.
