Screenwriter

In January of 2019, Omar wrote and sold a sitcom pilot script to 20th Century FOX titled “Adapted” and entered development with Jeff Gaspin (former CEO NBC Universal) and Mark Kassen (Like Minded Productions) at FOX with Angela Nissel and Mary Fitzgerald as attached as show runners.

• Assistant to Founder & Executive Chairman Mark Kassen, supporting with day to day facilitation of projects as they progress through production. • Maintain communication with production teams, scheduling and coordinating conference calls, facilitating payments to various vendors and independent contractors, other ad hoc projects as requested. Performed internal and external distribution of agreements and correspondence. • Controlling a large calendar, coverage, and general office responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Managing company emails, logging and tracking of invoices & expenses, and content creation. • Maintain multiple digital and physical filing/archival systems for project data and creative assets. Creating spreadsheets for logging product, supply, & call sheets. Generating expense reports. Delivering/loading/unloading gear & equipment. Arranged travel.

Executing every errand and working in conjunction with the Production Coordinator to make sure the office runs smoothly. - Creating and logging inventories to keep account of supplies and avoid waste. Managing scheduling, phone calls, IT support, & facilitating a stress free working environment. - Solving problems before they even happen so that there are systems and solutions in place ready to go should an issue arise. - Driving, loading, unloadingG&E, assistance/errands for H&MU, Talent, ATL and BTL crew assistance.
