Co-produced and edited short documentary. This short film is an intimate portrait of a twenty-something queer black woman who discusses topics such as sexuality, gender norms, and how shameless it is to live life as she sees fit. Joined by other early-twenties women of color, Dayo and friends comment on issues of sexuality in a cozy Brooklyn apartment. With knowledge from their own understanding of the world, and not the world as it was once understood they’ll answer questions regarding sexuality and the expectations they have from others and themselves. It’s okay to not think of your body being connected to your soul, sex can be emotionless, or the confusion between loving someone and not wanting to be traditionally committed to them.
