Conceptualized the set of a Chinese-American grandmother's NYC apartment. Sourced accurate artwork, food, and decorations to transform a nearly empty space into a cluttered, homey location.

I was responsible for sourcing and styling the wardrobe for several commercial shoots.

I designed the set as well as several props for this off-Broadway production. The show explored the inner-workings of a psychiatric unit, following the protagonists through her physical and emotional reality. I worked closely with the director to execute a minimalist and sterile set that I then emphasized through stark, industrial lighting.

For this experimental 16mm film, I was tasked with transforming two locations -- an art deco bathroom and oak paneled bar -- to represent the protagonists imagination. I sourced and/or created set dressing, props, and carefully styled food/drink.

I was required to source and style wardrobe options in accordance with the pitch deck provided. I was also responsible for maintaining and selecting wardrobe provided by talent.

As the writer/director of this short film, I had a hand in all aspects of production. My specific areas of focus besides overall artistic direction were casting and production design. With a very specific vision in mind, I reached out to and auditioned nearly 200 individuals and edited tapes for the rest of the creative team.

I conceptualized and executed the set of a busy Manhattan nail salon for selected scenes and other content for a TV series pitch. While shot on location, the salon was mostly bare and I was required to source both set dressing a props as well as design signs and graphics to be used throughout the project. Because we were shooting during the salon's off hours, I had to carefully plan how to set up and strike the set each day (night) for purposes of continuity.
