Razan Ghalayini

Razan Ghalayini is a twice Emmy Award nominated writer, director and producer. In In addition to co-running the field department, she is a segment director at Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, where she has written and directed over 45 field pieces across nine countries.

Working closely with director Gini Reticker in research, casting and scripting of film as well as managing and producing all production work outside of the United States.

Co-Directing and Co-Producing a documentary film being shot in over 10 countries and in multiple languages. Have been setting up shoots in war zones in addition to domestic shoots. Very involved in story.

Worked closely with director and producers. Travelled to multiple countries in advance of team to set up shoot and develop relationships with characters. Worked closely with editor and director to find the structure of the film during post. Koran By Heart premiered at Tribeca in 2011.
