The live event is monthly and is video taped at a Comedy Club. As a Production Assistant, I assist in the on-location set-up of the show. For the actual event, my duties have ranged from camera op to A2 to Floor Manager.

I was in charge of make-up for Councilman Dennis Zine, Lee Alpert and all the guests on the show. I would have 10 minutes to make up each person. I've done the make up for police officers, military brass and several prominent politicians like Chief Deputy District Attorney Jackie Lacey.

I assisted in pre-production, production, and post-production for Thousand Oaks Television (TOTV). I was in charge of tape trafficking, live and satellite program recording. I coordinated Master Control operation through the Omnion and Sundance video server systems. I was responsible for payables processing.

I managed studio access security and communication between production staff, gate security, and the show’s personal security guards; maintained authorization records for employees, friend/families of employees and contestants, VIPs, and press.

Every election, the City of Fillmore had a live on-air show that took a light look at state, county, and local elections and issues. I was responsible for the booking the hosts and guests, make-up, crafty, updating election statistics, wrangling the guests and cueing talent.
