I help set up/wrap the simple set, adjust the lights on the grid and the floor, prep and wrap up to 6 cameras, zoom and roll the Sony on a nice set of wheels during the show to keep talent composed nicely. This is a very fun set and crew.

The best part of these shoots is the b-roll captured before the games which I shoot handheld with the Panasonic HPX. These are really single camera shoots - with the Sony DSP500 with a decent Canon lens as the primary game camera and a DSP250 running on the clock.

I wrote the first script, and had touches on the final. Shot all the footage on my Canon 5D and Sony NX70. Edited, including all titles, graphics and color correction in Premiere Pro.

Hand held on the field and in the stands on sticks, this was 3-camera high school football recorded live for broadcast later that evening. Sony DSR250/500 & Panasonic HPX/HVX cameras. I prepped & wrapped cameras and equipment, and tried to always have a shot the director wanted to go to.

This was a fantastic opportunity to capture the essence of the program that was previously known as Indian Guides and is now called Adventure Guides. From start to finish, with the help of one talented assistant on the shoot days, this is all me.

Given existing footage and a long chat with the company president, I conceived and edited this trade show video that far exceeded expectations.
