Edited videos of leading experts discussing topical issues. Incorporated social media formats, style guides, and prototyping a more branded product. Created technical documents for the company detailing the construction of a scalable digital video network encompassing best practices for naming conventions, folder structures, format standards, a redundant archive system and index. Maintained studio and equipment, filmed, prepared transcripts, and created internal HR curricula for organizations including Deloitte, Microsoft, JPMorgan Chase, and Citi Group.

Coordinated receiving, file organization, transcoding, project setup, and delivery across 36 international offices for all VICE online verticals including: VICE News, Noisey, The Creators Project, Motherboard, i-D, MUNCHIES, VICE Sports, THUMP, Fightland, and Broadly, as well as VICE broadcast pieces. Maintained various servers, computers, work drives, hardware and software. Communicated closely with IT on the status of all equipment and tools. Standardized the workflow for dozens of file formats including industry standard cameras, drones, security cameras, and thermal cameras. Responsible for quality control, watermarking, Youtube uploads, Ooyala embeds, and updating the internal web database. Organized and maintained an LTO backup system consisting of several petabytes of back catalog footage and material.

Managed the post production workflow for all domestic and international projects. Planned scalable systems and oversaw general administrative duties. Duties included media allocation for shoots, delivery methods, ingesting, transcoding, syncing audio, backing up media onto the server, and prepping projects for editors. Built and maintained the archive system and server. Monitored and gathered assets, performed troubleshooting of software and hardware, quality control, and delivery of finished edits to client FTP. Clients included Conde Nast, Audi, Chanel, Estee Lauder Companies, American Express, Johnson & Johnson, and HP.

Produced and edited a series of videos explaining the startup’s platform and documenting the creation and launch of their new iPad app. Videos featured on Techcrunch and other digital news websites.

Facilitated live webcasts, event videography, conducted interviews, and optimized content for streaming and social media. Clients included Box.com, DoSomething.org, Techweek, Social Capital Markets, Scoop.it, and Data 2.0. Videos were featured on the Apple Store, Techcrunch, Engadget, Huffington Post, and other digital media outlets.

Field tested new audio, camera, and post production hardware. Shot, edited, and distributed media as promotional material for the Film Archive. Maintained the BAM/PFA YouTube channel including labeling, tagging, and archiving.

Created media in roles ranging from conceptualization, workflow design, camera operator, DIT, and editing. Acted as Post Supervisor for Hot 97’s Summer Jam concert, an event managing a crew of 25 people with 20 cameras that reached a record 1.2 million live-streaming views and 60,000 attendees. Clients included Virgin Airlines, Alternative Press, USA Today, Red Bull, Matrix, Popsugar, Lane Bryant, Hot 97, Wella, Hellmanns Mayonnaise, and RPM.
