I was my own gaffer, and shot video with Camera A (Canon 5d Mark 3) and some with Camera B (Canon 7D). One-day shoot in Black Box setting, black & white images to protect the blacks. Comissioned by SF Exploratorium, directed by Kerry Laitala

Produced + Directed a two-day shoot around interviews with Principals of company, including visits to their homes, and all the extra B-roll footage. We were a four-person production crew, moving fast. I edited the spot and my DP/Co-Producer did the color. We did the audio design/mix ourselves.

Cut a spot shot in New York, delivered 3-minute video with color to Phaidon. Slight animation work in Adobe After Effects. Completion held a month by art direction at Phaidon, and not published until February 2015.

Recorded and mixed interview audio (boom + lavalier mics) for Director/DP Sean Gillane. Two days of shooting.

I co-wrote the script, organized crew with the Producer, Directed the 2-night shoot, and edited the film (as well as supervised all post-production).

Directed the event coverage between two cameras and two DP's, working with Redzepi and the Castro Theatre tech staff; edited together the talk for YouTube, with slight color grade in DaVinci.

Cut a 3-minute promo reel with director Barry Jenkins, for the client Phaidon Press, with the Managing Food Editor, Emma Robertson, acting as producer/direct contact. Also a :60 Director's Cut for Strike's internal use.

Wrote, Produced, Cast, Directed, and Edited my first short film in 2012. Serious trial by fire. But I learned just about every job on a set, and how a set works, thanks to my Director of Photography, Padraic O'Meara, and my Sound Mixer, Joe Stillwater.
