Demo Video: https://youtu.be/I5hehipGZDA I created PedalBump with a team of L.A. based entertainment professionals. PedalBump is an interactive installation consisting of fully hosted bumper car derby races under a big top circus tent, with announcers, pit crew, wranglers, themed decor and a fleet of pedal powered custom designed bumper cars. The installation appeared at Burning Man 2012 - 2013 and L.A. Decompression festivals. At Burning man we were awarded a prime Esplanade location reserved for the most interactive, creative, artistic and community minded theme camps. I managed our social media campaign to garner support for fundraising and to recruit volunteers. I created complementary branded items, managed all digital assets and posts for our website, Facebook and festival links, coordinated the install and strike with a set involving a big top circus tent, lights, sound, video, props and performers, and shot and edited perk videos for donors and stills for promos. On that project, one of my biggest challenges was sourcing lightweight, in-budget, aesthetically pleasing and durable materials for various structural and decorative aspects of the installation. The installation was a booming success: we entertained thousands of visitors, involved hundreds of volunteers and continued the project for two more years before decommissioning the work.
