Editorial and VFX house in Santa Monica specializing in high profile international and domestic commercials and music videos. Essential Duties for my role include: -Coordinating between Producers, Editors, Clients, Production Companies, Creatives, Agencies, Color, Sound and VFX throughout the process to ensure the campaigns are successfully completed and delivered. -Setting up meetings across different time zones and note taking. -Presenting meeting points to team members. -Handling project calendars. -Schedule travel and accommodations for our staff. -Maintaining, storing, and overseeing all incoming/outgoing elements containing footage, transcodes, graded footage, projects, mix & splits, music, voice overs, production audio, SFX, VFX, comps, postings, pre-production documents, script notes, storyboards, etc. -Archival of all projects and media for the agency, including legacy projects. This includes different formats of storage such as internal and external drives, LTO tapes, cloud services, 3/4 tapes, digibeta, etc. -Archiving and uploading all masters, projects, mix & splits, and transcodes. -Developing and maintaining numerous databases, contact lists, manuals. Updating manuals and delivery documents accordingly. This requires a strong knowledge of ongoing projects and associated materials in order to draft and distribute Post Production reports and communication tools. -Coordination of all shipping pertaining to projects and its media (messengers, FedEx, etc.) -Keeping inventory of equipment/drives. -Reformatting spots and posting on our reel websites (WireDrive, Vimeo) with recent projects. -Updating our company's website with new content periodically. -Submitting spots and campaigns to award shows. -Develops training documents and trains new hires for the department. -Set up and execute file transfers for editors, VFX artists, assistants, clients, etc -Remote troubleshooting with VFX artists and editors working from home -Creating proxies or transcodes using DaVinci or Premiere Pro software. -Locating RAW stills and grading them for client overview.
