My first time working with Sarah aka Suber aka Super, she was the consummate set PA; she played well and got along with everyone, often anticipating and pleasantly communicating set needs to Locations on her own initiative while keeping on top of her ...MORE...
standard assignment(s), and I got a sense she was always determined to make every day a success, personally and for the film.
So I had to steal her into locations for a show. Actually, she answered the call to join me for the last harrowing week of exterior wilderness location work in the mountains of north GA. In late December. For a week of 18c-30c rain. Did I mention we were working in white water rapids?
Whether it was a 4am tent city set up or 11:30pm last minute tear down and location move, no complaints and just the right amount of battlefield humor.
Week 4, a Friday, she's the only Location PA on duty to provide service to our crew of 70, split into two units, 40 minutes from the nearest real plumbing or climate controlled environment. And the crew loved her.
In the 90 percentile for hard work ethic and drive.
Do not underestimate this one.
