Six Week Intensive Editing Course - Avid Media Composer and Final Cut certified instruction. Refined existing Avid ingest, transcode, editing, color correction and compositing skills, while learning new Final Cut X software and gaining core knowledge of Adobe AfterEffects.

Manage cross-functional projects including DVD mastering, digital encoding/archiving /delivery, international standards conversion, and foreign language audio laybacks. Developed creative direction and original storylines for season 3 of L.A. Ink. Coordinated story/post-production staff of 12 and implemented quality control processes to ensure maximization of all available footage. Supervised (script, cast) promotional spots for This Movie is Me: Fired Up & Prom Night, and co-conceptualized, strategized, and implemented two interactive, archival footage pilots. Negotiated with major record labels, stock music houses, and corporations, such as Bugati and Chopard, to secure the highest-quality products and footage, realizing significant savings.

Managed staff of 12, and created positive atmosphere through morale-boosting activities and commitment to development. Researched, coordinated, and location scouted VH1’s Rags to Riches series. Devised and executed national casting campaign for CMT’s Born Country series. Introduced ftp-server for media storage and footage viewing for executives around the country.

Co-developed and created documentary with Academy Award-nominated producer/director. Cultivated relationships with documentary-subject’s family members, resulting in acquisition of precious family photos and footage at no cost. Devised digital media organization system and introduced DVD-burning technology to replace outdated VHS system to conserve budget and optimize efficiency.
