Exclusively embedded with the Marion County Sheriff's Office in Ocala Florida, I identified and field-produced storylines around a large cast for a new docu-series offering an unfiltered window into the lives of law enforcement officers who work in a large and growing department. Shot verité style along with confessional interviews, officers share their emotional responses and visceral reactions resulting from the high-stakes service calls they tend to in this geographically sizeable county. Over eight weeks I supervised multiple crews and devised storylines and interviews while filming ride-a-longs in deputies' cars, and in the air with the elite Air 1 helicopter unit while tracking down suspects with the K9 deputies and their highly trained dog. This ten-part series intends to offer viewers an unprecedented window into the lives of officers and the community they serve.
