I was responsible for the physical visual elements of the film. Primary responsibilities as Associate Producer included: overseeing the Costume, Hair / Makeup, Props and Set Dressing Departments; providing images for the desired look / feel for all lead characters’ wardrobe, hair and makeup; purchasing all necessary set dressing & props; managing the department’s funds and receipts. During post-production, I was also responsible for securing a key (new) location for pickup shots as well as obtaining insurance and filming permits. Meanwhile, as Post-Production Line Producer, I was responsible for booking lodging, tracking and reconciling post-production expenses, managing the bank account and issuing checks.

As VP of Communications for Women In Film & Television Atlanta (WIFTA), I took on the responsibility of planning and executing the organization’s flagship fundraiser. In addition to organizing the live event, which included multiple live entertainment acts, a multi-course dinner, a silent auction and an awards ceremony, I was also responsible for producing the honoree videos which were part of the awards ceremony. I wrote the scripts for the videos and oversaw the content to be included in each. A few of the honorees that year included Jasmine Guy, Melissa McBride and Maria Howell.

I was the Script Supervisor on this quirky live + animation short film.

As an Associate Producer, I assisted with scheduling interviews for the documentary as well as finding additional images / videos to incorporate into the video.

I served as an additional Script Supervisor for this feature film.

Primary responsibilities for this short film project included: Hiring and scheduling crew; creating the production schedule; being a community liaison. As Scriptie, I was responsible for editor logs, lining the script and generating production reports.

The founder of LPF asked that I provide assistance in helping her existing show to operate more professionally and efficiently. I provided consultation on show formatting, organized the show rundown format to allow for more precise live taping, assisted with creating an ideal production schedule and set guidelines for the production crew the founder should seek to make it all happen.

The founder of KB Cookin,’ a personal chef, was interested in creating a pilot cooking show. I was hired to increase the professionalism of the shoot, which I did by formatting the content of the show, establishing key shots to be included and providing on-air coaching for the chef.

Depletion was created as a 48 Hour Go Green Film Festival entry. As Production Manager, I was charged with assigning our participants their jobs once we had a concept in place, outreach to acquire items we did not already have with us that were needed for production and keeping the cast and crew to it’s uber tight schedule so we could complete post-production in time to submit the film.

I served as 1st AD and Script Supervisor on this project. I was charged with keeping the production on schedule each day—from cataloging the scenes and coverage we were obtaining as a Script Supervisor to being the catalyst who readied the cast and crew for each scene and set up.

My primary responsibility as Weekday Associate Producer was to assist the 5:00p / 5:30p Producer with the shows. Specifically, I wrote the Health, Consumer and Entertainment blocks for the show and other stories as assigned. I also worked with editors and tape operators to ensure the show’s video elements were ready to air. Additionally, I worked as a fill-in Producer for various newscasts at the station as needed. In that capacity, I determined the content to be included in the entire newscast, wrote stories, chose video, full screes and images to accompany stories and managed the show’s progression from the control booth during the live broadcast. As the Weekend Assignment Editor, I supervised all aspects of the weekend news pre-production—from news-gathering and network video acquisition to interview scheduling and assigning stories. Additionally, I mobilized reporters, videographers and editors to cover the most compelling news stories of the day.

I worked as an on-set Production Assistant for various local commercial and single shoot TV show production projects in Michigan. I provided assistance to the Director, Assistant Director and / or Production Manager as needed while working on these projects.

I worked as a Production Assistant. I mostly assisted department heads with running paperwork as needed and wrangling talent or audience members prior to filming of the live event.

As a part-time Production Assistant, I operated the teleprompter, manned the studio camera or acted as the Floor Director when working in-studio; prior to the newscasts, I organized scripts for the Director / Technical Director to ensure a smooth execution of the show from that perspective.
