This show aired a few years ago on Channel 4, and I was hired to create trailers for the re-release. Additionally I did segment cut downs for timing, and ad placement. Seasons 1-3 were included in my work purview.

Editor for episodes 104 & 107. Research and emulate old commercials, kids' shows, and cartoon network programming from the late '80s and early '90s. Create composite scenes with the same actor playing multiple characters simultaneously, sometimes three or more. Accentuating comedic moments and finding a meeting point between sketch and scripted comedy, creating a believable time capsule into the late '80s without breaking the fourth wall. Building vintage transitions and tape glitches that could be used throughout the series. Marrying cartoon bits with live-action bits, and making edits to animation when necessary. Delegating tasks to assistant editors and helping maintain an efficient workflow.

VFX heavy show, so a lot of my work centered around planning for, temping, and turning over VFX to multiple artists. VFX ranged in complexity from 2D morphs to 3D enhancements of practical creatures/puppets/on-set FX. Also brought dailies into Premiere, logged by scene, created KEMrolls and 1st assemblies, created creature sounds, and temp VFX comps. Version and notes tracking as well, plus turn over to VFX artists and online team. Supported editors in any way necessary.

Overnight editor, using footage of the live stream that happened hours before, I cut and spliced this e-sports competition show into a "Last Time On" that aired at the beginning of the daily stream the following day. While it was airing this was the most-watched live streamed show on Twitch for 3 days straight! Totally cool experience! Lots of different video/audio sources and codecs to navigate, but the challenges made the final products all the more worth it!

I've edited many a promo for McDonalds over the past few years. Some of the projects came to me directly from corporate and others from StudioNow. These projects are filmed all over the world and usually focus on the ways McDonalds is innovating on their processes inside their franchise locations. Sometimes they're highlighting the expanded drive-thru, sometimes it's the self-order kiosks, but we always anchor it with a story about people. I've edited together the stories of countless franchise owners, employees, and C-suite execs over the last few years. The turnaround time is always quick, and the footage is always from a variety of sources which has taught me a lot about the power of transcoding and having an efficient workflow.
