Weixin Zhuang is originally from China, now a documentary filmmaker based in New York.  He graduated with an MFA of Social Documentary from the School of Visual Arts in 2020. He is a visual storyteller focused on exploring the motivations of human behaviors in the contemporary world, their struggles with identity. Through cinematic and compelling imagery, with sociology and anthropology background,  he strives to unfold his subjects' inner world combining both intimacy and coherence.
