I worked with over a hundred and fifty background actors assisting with getting them ready, last looks, delivering required background actors to the set and shuttling them to and from the set. I organized background actors in pass vans in multiple groups, so they could return to the staging area that was located some distance from the set. I also assisted the sound department collecting Comteks when filming wrapped.

As a driver I transported crew to various locations. I helped load/unload gear. Refueling. Prep for return & flights. Lock up duties. Went on a run to Home Depot, pack and save, DTC, camera store. Responsible with petty cash. Assisted AC with lens changes. Assisted with lighting and grip on set. Stand-in for Zachary Quinto at UC Berkeley location.

Sound mixing for run-and-gun style documentary. Recorded approximately 50 interviews over three weekends, live performances and behind the scenes audio. Recorded actors, vendors, management and behind the scenes crew, in addition to ambient crowd audio. Recorded song and dance routines at various locations throughout the fair's numerous stages and locations.

Lockup duty, crowd redirect. I escorted 30 background actors from one location's holding area to the next location's holding area. Three pass vans were used. I ensured that all background actors were arrived safely and were accounted for.

I assisted with video camera setup. I ran cables: video, audio, lighting and power. I assisted when the cables were being attached to the ceiling. I coiled cables. I helped unload shipping cases.

I put up wireless antennas and cables. Checked wireless frequencies. Power management duties across multiple wireless devices & mics. I setup and configured announcer boxes on set. I checked frequency strength & range inside Oracle Arena. I ensured good communication between auditorium floor and control room in back of house. I set up, routed and daisy chained audio feeds to players. I setup, checked & distributed IFB's. I adjusted wireless antennas as needed and monitored them to ensure strong & consistent signal strength. I set up, placed and ran XLR cables for 20 table mics and ran them all through a Hydra-48 unit. I set up and distributed Clear-com IFB units to show administrators. Taping cables to ground as needed. At the end of the show, I helped break down the entire audio setup on the floor including disconnecting and wrapping cables, returning audio distribution hardware to staging area. Ensuring that all mics on the floor were returned to their proper places. I helped prep all audio gear for return to rental house.

I helped move Metallica band gear in cargo boxes off stage to truck loading staging area. I assisted in the dismantling of the band stage and helped move stage pieces off-stage. I generally assisted wherever needed during the breakdown of the stage and lighting. I helped dismantle exterior lighting at AT&T Park. I helped dismantle trusses outside AT&T. I helped get trusses from location to trucking area.

I was hired as a Production Assistant for one day, but was kept on for four days. I was mainly a driver for the first two days, then was promoted to tech PA for the last two days of production. On day one and two, I picked up at the airport and drove the owner/creator of the show, Bertram van Munster, his personal assistant and a group of execs to various locations to be filmed for the show, for approval. Helped unload & load cargo van when barge returned from a location with equipment. I went on a supply runs for craft services. I prepped and returned cars to rental agency. I took crew made tags from cars and striped cars of crew markings. I drove cargo vans and picked up/dropped off equipment as needed. Parked pass van at new lot when street parking permits expired. On day three and four, I was promoted to tech PA, working with the audio/video department, I help break down and prepare gear for transport to the airport. I broke down Sony FS7 mark II and PDWF800 video cameras, cleaned the bodies, cleaned the lenses, disassembled the lenses and packed the camera bodies, lenses, audio, and accessories into flight cases. I broke down audio bags and removed Lectrosonics microphones. I helped organize audio gear. I also organized cables, disassembled microphones from boom poles and organized and packed battery packs, both lithium and NiMH batteries. I packed and returned gear going back to rental house through FedEx. I removed tape and stickers from approximately 100 batteries & 100 pelican cases. I helped sort rental gear from gear owned by the show. I helped all prep gear for air travel.

Setting up the video systems, projectors, screens as large as 9' x 16', ensuring that computers could assess the audio/video systems. In addition, setting up stage and running cable, both power and audio XLR lines to the house mixer.

I mostly assisted in the props department, making props, distributing props, maintaining props and prop expendables, distributing props to principals and background actors, application of props onto talent. I also assisted the on-set dresser move and arrange on set furniture and props on set. I also worked with the production designer. I went on numerous runs for supplies and expendables as needed. I assisted in dressing two principal vehicles in the film. I was also a background actor in five different scenes as needed and worked with the lead actress in one of them. I assisted the art department whenever and wherever I was needed.

I drove the Composer, Mark Kilian and the Director/Producer/Writer, Peter Bratt to and from the airport to Skywalker Sound in Marin County. I also did the setup and breakdown of the audio/video system for a fundraiser screening of the film in San Francisco.
