Senior Producer:
Join our dynamic senior management team as a Senior Producer, a pivotal role reporting directly to the executive producers. We are seeking a candidate with over 10 years of experience in national broadcast news, demonstrating expertise in leading teams and crafting impactful, long-format storytelling in crime content. This position requires deep hands-on experience in all aspects of production, and an individual with a deep understanding of the criminal justice system and a sensitivity to the experiences of victims and their families.
Key qualifications include strong editorial judgment, proficiency in compelling writing and script editing, journalistic ethics, innovative thinking, and a collaborative approach. This candidate is deadline oriented and thrives under pressure.
This is a daily, nationally syndicated true crime news magazine.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee a team of experienced writer/producers and collaborate closely with all key departments
• Edit and punch-up scripts to tell compelling narratives that capture the voice of the show while maintaining the
highest standards of factual integrity
• Evaluate and resolve editorial challenges and conflicts with adept problem-solving skills
• Guide and interact with talent and teams shooting in the field
• Contribute to the planning and execution of daily show
• Interface and collaborate across all departments including digital and social media team and promotions
• Foster the growth and development of team members through constructive feedback and mentorship

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance.
