We are looking for some amazing talented Knoxville Production Assistants for an upcoming Live To Tape show! :-)

Time frame would be May 25-30 in the downtown Knoxville area. This would be Set PA positions. We may also need PA Runners or an Office PA. Looking for team players who are hard working, reliable and positive attitude for fun! Ability to lift 10-15 lbs is a plus.

DATES: May 25 - 30 (If you are only available for a portion of the dates, please specify your avails)

RATE: $225 /12

Experienced PAs only please...no newbies or green.

Must be and/or work as a local. - NO TRAVELERS PLEASE.

Must have reliable transportation.

We like to know in advance the comfort level of our PAs in regards to being a runner/driver as well as computer experience so we can match up your talent with our show needs. Listed below are a few questions to help us with PA placement.

The Production Coordinator (or Event Manager) is responsible for the onsite organization and administration of gear and crew. The CSSU Projects Team is part of the *** Sports Production Services & Operations Team and supports CSSU Linear Creative and Content, Design, Multi *** , BR Gaming, and Sales on the production of all pre-produced content and marketing & sales creative elements.

The Projects Team is the glue for CSSU creative development and production - holding everyone accountable to the overarching project goal. The projects group leads teams by driving their focus where it's required in a fast-paced environment. They are the main point of contact for our internal and external partners and clients and are the people to go to when an update is needed on where a project is and where it needs to be. They will listen to the needs of partners, clients and the CSSU team and help drive improvements in how we work together. Finally, they will drive the project to completion and delivery on-time.

The Manager role is pivotal in leading the team who are project managing the production of all pre-produced content created for *** Sports linear brands. This position is responsible for long range planning, keeping up with changing business needs and helping to create strategic workflows to meet the needs of the business. They are the main point of contact for various internal and external partners to ensure all creative projects have the project management support they need. Job Responsibilities:

Project ownership (60%)

Manage projects from start-to-end by defining project scope, developing detailed project plans and milestones, managing production schedules, leading communication, providing status updates, and delivering final assets.
Liaison *** ween various groups touching a project including, but not limited to CSSU creative, multi *** , production, production management, programming, design, business teams, marketing, sales and sponsorship, league, legal,andtalent services.
Create, monitor, and maintain tracking grids/system for all projects.
Main contact for producers/designers to communicate the daily business/project status, as well as the monitoring, tracking, and reporting on project deliverables to ensure project deadlines are on target.
Manage producer schedule for individual projects.

Manage the process of approvals and feedback as well as feedback to Management.

Job Description

This is a part-time project / limited term position with an estimated duration of up to 6 - 12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.

As a Digitization Production Assistant, you will handle day-to-day and long-term asset management support for the operations team working in a shared storage environment. You will help manage what production material is stored and/or archived, while also working with various production teams to fulfill footage requests.

Responsibilities:

Helpthe *** Sports Group with digitizing the videotape, disc and film archive
Organize and enter metadata for videotapes, discs and film reels in the *** Sports Group's physical *** tracking system
Review all physical libraries to determine which assets should be digitized
Prepare tapes to be sent out of house to be digitized
Assist with the editing of metadata and trimming for new digital files
Track physical *** shipments coming back to the *** Sports Group facility and prepare them to be sent out for long-term storage
Support all of *** 's production teams with footage searches, restores, EDLs, and screeners
Ensure operationally that LTO/ODA assets are being updated as they move throughout the building as they're critical to our operations

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

BS/BA degree in a relevant TV Production or related field; orequivalent work experience
Minimum one (1+) yearof familiarity with use of Avid non-linear editing software and Avid Interplay *** asset management softwareor similar NLE
Minimum one (1+) yearexperience supporting Windows operating environment

Full Time

The *** *** Company is hiring for a Studio Tech II at **** in Helena. They will ensure smooth operation of technical equipment and services during programs. Perform all duties associated with operating the teleprompter, cameras, studio graphics and audio mixer for broadcast. Demonstrates proficiency in several areas and on at least two technical systems.

**** YOU'LL DO:

Ensure studio is prepared and set-ups are complete; assign and set-up mics for on-air talent and conduct mic checks; coordinate studio position/placement for live shows; operate tele-prompter and cameras during live and taped shows
Operate of various technical equipment including, but not limited to, graphics systems, VizRt and Newsticker. Perform audio mixing, coordinate satellite feeds and monitor usage/charging systems
Assist technical director with trouble-shooting technical problems and effectively resolves/removes roadblocks as they occur during production in the studio.
Other duties as assigned.

**** YOU'LL NEED:

Associates degree in related discipline or equivalent years of experience preferred
Specialized training/certification may be required
Generally, 2+ years of experience in related field preferred

**** YOU'LL BRING:

Successfully performed related duties of Studio Tech I for up to one year
Demonstrate knowledge of technical systems and floor operations
Readily learn and apply training, new techniques and independent judgment
Must be able to work a studio lift

**** ENVIRONMENT:

Employees are protected from weather conditions or contaminants, but not necessarily occasional temperature changes.
Hazards: Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, or exposure to chemicals or infectious diseases in work setting.
