Job Description
*** Universal is seeking a Specialist, Commerce Partnerships to join our team and drive the growth of our Commerce performance ( *** U Checkout and affiliate) programs. In this role, you will be responsible for onboarding new commerce partners, fostering relationships, and optimizing performance to achieve mutually beneficial results.
Reporting into the VP, Commerce Partnerships, you will be working across multiple teams within a large *** organization, excellent relationship skills, and a high level of organization and time management. You will also help coordinate *** ween marketing, product, marketplace operations, and content/brand strategy teams in the development and execution of commerce marketing activations.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and recruit new partners to expand our commerce network across a wide range of entertainment content
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize partner performance
- Build effective, highly collaborative relationships with key internal partners, and with external clients and/or their agencies, to develop and execute compelling campaigns and promotions
- Monitor, analyze, and present campaign performance to drive improvements
- Provide regular reporting and insights to internal stakeholders
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in marketplaces and affiliate marketing
- Support the development of project plans for partner activations, tracking timelines from inception through completion
- Manage status and progress of all partner activations, being prepared to communicate that status regularly to leadership
- Maintain strong relationships with existing partners to ensure long-term success
- Provide Commerce support for the broader *** U sales team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years' experience with affiliate marketing or partner management in eCommerce and digital *** or related industry mix
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholder groups ideally with a focus on activations/events, innovation and growth
- Knowledge of affiliate marketing platforms, social *** and tracking tools is a plus
- Must be able to work in a hybrid environment in our New York office; on-site Tuesday - Thursday and remote Monday/Friday with flexibility as business needs dictate
