Our Communications team for the *** Entertainment & *** Technology organization is seeking an experienced, energetic, and creative Senior Manager of Communications that is equal parts Communications professional and "translator" - who can work to understand sophisticated product and engineering projects and functions, and clearly, concisely, and understandably help build strategies, messages and materials that communicate them through high-impact initiatives to audiences both external and internal to *** . In this role, you will help devise and implement 360-degree communications strategies (external, internal, leadership, technical), communications materials and storytelling, supporting the *** Entertainment & *** Technology team.
In partnership with the DE&E Technology's Director of Communications, you will work together to develop, run, and execute communications strategies, create visual storytelling content in addition to written positioning and messaging materials, and help drive content and strategy for the organization's owned storytelling platforms to publicize the innovation and utilization of *** 's *** products, platforms, and technologies.
The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the technology sector, the cross-section of *** and technology, and will have worked with product managers, engineers and designers to make complex technology understandable to wider audiences - explaining not only what it does, but how it does it and why it matters.
Specifically, this role will help support several key technology teams that drive multiple businesses including Direct-to-Consumer (DTC): Product Management, Design, Ad Platforms, Commerce, Growth & Identity, Product & Data Engineering, *** Engineering. What You Will Do
- Partner with the team in all communication activities related to key pillars groups within DE&E Technology.
- Work collaboratively as part of a dynamic, matrixed team that supports the communication strategy and execution of strategic product and technology storytelling - both internally and externally.
- Craft, develop and deliver corporate announcements and communication plans and guidelines for DE&E Technology to help drive goals.
- Support external communications efforts and initiatives in support of product and technology initiatives including for the DTC business, positioning *** as a leader at the intersection of technology, *** , entertainment and sports, while working in collaboration and coordination with Communications colleagues across the segment.
- Actively supervise competitive and *** landscapes to identify press and thought leadership opportunities to secure stories with *** , appearances in key strategic industry events, and address inaccuracies.
- Support and contribute to internal communications initiatives, alongside other team members and in coordination with colleagues within the broader Technology, Distribution & DTC communications function and in other divisions at *** .
- Work to understand complex *** infrastructure projects and develop clear and approachable narratives that help explain what they are and why they matter to audiences with limited tech understanding.
- Working with the Technology Communications team, drive the technology content creation for owned storytelling (contributions to *** blog, editorial strategy and create written and visual storytelling content), press materials (press kits, press releases, fact sheets, bios, statements, talking points, and social posts), and press events.
- Effectively work with relevant internal colleagues on communications to DE&E Technology employees and teams across multiple channels (intranet, slack, email, other), as well as working with internal communications leads across Corporate, *** Entertainment, and *** to ideate and deliver content for employee-facing platforms.
- Maintain and develop tools for the team to help establish and advance best practices in the corporate communications sector (e.g. press lists, reporting, templates and tools, social *** strategies, *** website, etc.)
- Interact with senior product and technology executives to identify key goals and priorities, assist in preparing materials for executive speaking engagements, and advise and guide them in public/press interactions.
- As appropriate, serve as a spokesperson for the company, including issue management.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in communications and public relations, including significant experience in both internal and external communications.
- Experience building corporate narratives, developing and driving creative and strategic press campaigns, and coordinating events
- Passion for product and technology and an understanding of traditional and digital *** sectors, the technologies shaping and disrupting them, and the business models underpinning them.
- Excellent oral/written communication skills are an absolute must.
- Outstanding organizational and project management skills in all aspects of job performance with strong attention to detail.
- Proactive self-starter with strong creative thinking and the ability to take initiative with projects and anticipate issues of concern.
- Ability to prioritize multiple priorities, create documents quickly and communicate effectively under pressure of time constraints.
- Flexibility, resourcefulness and an ability to balance multiple demands and thrive in a fast-paced, changing and growing multiplatform 24/7 global work environment.
- Willingness and availability to work evenings and weekends as well as travel for work/production/events as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience supporting technology teams (engineering, product, UX/UI design) with communications initiatives is strongly preferred - especially in the areas of DTC product management, *** and software engineering, and design.
- Existing relationships with tech, business and trade press preferred.
- Experience and baseline proficiency with all or many of the following: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and *** Encoder; Keynote; Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel; Canva; Trello; WordPress; Slack; G Suite.
- Video project management and/or production is a plus.
Required Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related field.

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $138,000.00 to $189,700.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
