Our Business Development Account Executives offer customized marketing programs that leverage the Chronicle's robust digital product suite of solutions to generate new customers and positively impact our local business clients.

- Successfully sell digital advertising solutions to a high volume of new businesses using our suite of products (SEO/SEM, Social *** , Display, Content Marketing, Email Marketing, Video, OTT/CTV, custom publications and sponsorships).
- Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue goals monthly.
- Generate new leads through lead generation, cold calling, email marketing, networking, and awareness of new business openings.
- Continually build a pipeline of new business and upsell opportunities.
- Conduct discovery calls and presentations with prospects and customers.
- Handle customer's objections efficiently.
- Effectively use CRM, company communication platforms and AI sales tools.
What we're looking for:
- BA/BS degree in Advertising, Sales, Marketing, or Communications preferred but not required.
- 1-2 Sales Experience, *** sales a plus.
- Proven success in new business acquisition and exceeding revenue goals.
- Superior presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Technically proficient - Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite of products, Microsoft Teams and Outlook required.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Expert knowledge of both the transactional and long-term sales cycles.
