Sr Director of Distribution and Strategic Analytics is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing *** U's distribution analytics function. This position sits within Decision Sciences, an organization with a charter to provide actionable insights that enable decision-making across *** U's *** Group. The role will traverse the many distribution avenues that put *** Universal's content on screen in front of audiences. Areas of focus include leading analytics for linear network carriage deals and informing go-to-market approach, opportunity assessment and valuation analyses that span linear and streaming, setting strategy for *** U's portfolio of FAST channels, and video market intelligence to contextualize performance and support its growth.

**** WE NEED FROM YOU: Lead a team of data and business analysts to gather, analyze, and interpret data, identifying trends, opportunities, and challenges across our distribution channels to providing strategic guidance to senior management.Develop frameworks and strategies for evaluating distribution value and shaping *** U's positioning in distribution renewals.Prepare thought provoking executive level presentations on the video landscape, informing competitive performance across streaming, linear and FAST.Evaluate impact of distribution, partnerships, or programming changes in collaboration with stakeholdersEstablish relationships with research teams across the company to share insights and maintain a well-rounded view of the *** landscapeBe the expert in a wide array of *** data sources (3rd, 2nd and 1st party), knowing what is best to use for the task at hand.Shape the direction of *** U's FAST channel portfolio, evaluate new channel opportunities, track the FAST landscape, create materials for leadership updates, and coordinate across teams.Advance contractual reporting terms in *** U's distribution deals and manage vendor relationships, evaluating new vendors as needed to keep pace with evolving business demands.Leveraging data visualization tools and technologies to present findings in a compelling and easy-to-understand manner for stakeholders at all levels.Leading analyses that involve querying large datasets to evaluate opportunities and address distribution evolution.Contribute to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work culture at *** U
Candidates for this role have a strong background in distribution analytics, strategy, *** research and measurement tools, along with excellent leadership and communication skills. Sr Director of Distribution and Strategic Analytics plays a critical role in shaping the company's distribution strategy.
Qualifications- 10+ years of experience in insights, strategy, consulting, or a related function
- Ability to interpret stakeholder needs and remain focused on business impact while also deeply understanding data and analytical methods
- Proficient in leading and motivating multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives and meet deadlines effectively
- Experience crafting compelling PowerPoint presentations that tell meaningful stories with data.
- Expert Excel skills and experience compiling, transforming, and modeling data in workbooks
- Expertise in Tableau or comparable data tools
- Expertise in Antenna, Nielsen, or other streaming industry measurement
- Experience leading managing Commitment to tackling projects of all sizes with vision and purpose
- Keen eye for visual design and exceptional attention for detail
- Revels in and is energized by white spaces
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
