We are producing a spec music video for an unreleased country song, and are seeking a Gaffer to work with our Director/DoP to light a single location with 2 major setups. It is a mostly tungsten package due to our budget, so you should be comfortable geling lights; we will be using some fun colors.

$450/10

We are shooting a short film, "I HAVE SOME THOUGHTS," written and directed by Taylor Engel.

Taylor’s visually stunning short, "THE PAVEMENT," was featured on HBO's Project Greenlight. He has worked with filmmakers such as Rian Johnson, Barry Jenkins, and Paul Thomas Anderson, creatively directing and editing their film marketing campaigns.

"I HAVE SOME THOUGHTS" is a character study that explores its protagonist's often humorous obsessive-compulsive thoughts with the gripping tension of a 70s paranoid thriller. The film promises to be both artful and darkly funny, akin to "Limitless" meets "Curb Your Enthusiasm."
It’s a super low-budget, independent film to be submitted to major film festivals.

In search of a Gaffer with a minimum 1-ton package, local to or willing to work as a local to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This shoot will be for a feature documentary, including (1) interview day (which will require lighting units and grip gear). The interview day will have Grip support, but b-roll days may require our Gaffer to work solo as our footprint must remain light.

The documentary's subject matter is neurodiversity/neurosensitivity, and we will feature those from within the community. The individuals participating have kindly offered to share their stories, and we seek to celebrate them while telling honest and informative stories.

We will be filming a commercial for a restaurant/bistro/casino for two days in Santa Rosa. We need a gaffer with their own kit to light the space and work with the DP and director to curate the look of the film shoot.

We will be filming a one day, docu-style commercial for the medicine Fintepla in Waterford, MI. We need a gaffer who can create natural, bright images for a pharma shoot. We also need the gaffer to provide their own equipment, which we would pay a kit rental fee for. The shoot will be on June 15th for a full day.

The range depends both on experience/rates and also cost of kit rentals.

Searching for a gaffer to work on a medium-large scale outdoor product shoot for a gardening company. Furthermore our studio is seeking to expand our freelance roster for semi-regular productions over the rest of the year and onwards. This particular project will have a ~12 person crew.

Seeking a Gaffer for 1 day of corporate interviews and 1 day of b-roll during the week of August 19th in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Specific days are still TBD.
