The Plasterer 200 is responsible to perform functions that include but are not limited to plastering normal finishes and simulated finishes (i.e., rock work, brick, stone wood). The removal and installation of tile brick pavers, concrete and asphalt. This will include shop work, field and rehab work ranging from construction to the intricacies of the refurbishment of. It requires the ability to read blue prints, follow engineering instructions and use normal hand tools and power tools. This position provides support to Engineering, all maintenance teams including attractions, ride and show, and infrastructure facilities.

The Plasterer 755 is responsible to perform functions that include but are not limited to model and mold making (fiberglass and silicone), fiberglass repair, and manufacturing and casting parts in materials such as urethanes, epoxies and resins. Those in this position may also include the removal and installation of tile brick pavers, concrete and asphalt, the fabrication of MACON parts and the repair and refurbishment of character heads. This will include shop work, as well as field and rehab work ranging from construction to the intricacies of the refurbishment or model making. It requires the ability to read blue prints, follow engineering instructions and the use of normal hand tools and power tools. This position provides support to Engineering and all maintenance teams including Attractions, Ride and Show, and Infrastructure

Responsibilities:

The Plasterer 200 role is responsible to:

• Have the ability to safely use and maintain basic hand tools, to operate pneumatic and electric powered tools utilizing the proper safety precautions including personal protective equipment, and the ability to operate a man lift, forklift, scissors lift, truck, and both gas and electric powered carts
• To read blueprints and follow engineering instructions. The ability to use or learn to use MAXIMO (a work order tracking system), as well as to follow check lists to safely handle materials, lock-out and tag-out of attractions, operate department equipment and vehicles and know what actions to take in case of a failure
• To remove and repair cement, pavers, asphalt and tile, are required to possess a basic knowledge of how to handle and use molds and models (preferable knowledge of how to fabricate molds and models), and must possess the ability to plaster and apply or carve in the plaster simulated finishes (i.e., rock work, wood, stone, brick, etc.)
• Have the ability to operate a manlift, forklift, scissors lift, truck, bicycle and both gas and electric powered carts

The Plasterer 755 role is responsible to:

• Be able to safely use and maintain basic hand tools
• Have the ability to operate pneumatic and electric-powered tools using the proper safety precautions including personal protective equipment
• Be able to operate a man lift, forklift, scissors lift, truck, bicycle and both gas and electric powered carts
• Be able to read blue prints and follow engineering instructions
• Have the ability to use or learn to use MAXIMO (a work order tracking system)
• Be able to follow check lists to safely handle materials, to lock-out and tag-out attractions, to operate department equipment and vehicles and to know what actions to take in case of a failure

Basic Qualifications:

Plasterer 200:

• Able to work with cementitious materials, resins, epoxies, adhesives, acrylics, urethanes, molds, models and basic tools required of plasterer and a typical maintenance type position
• Familiarity with safety procedures and equipment necessary to accomplish tasks listed previously
• Able to read and interpret blueprints
• Able to read, interpret and follow checklists, written procedures and/or processes.
• Familiar with or have the ability to learn the Computerized Maintenance Management System
• Excellent communicator (express technical ideas, exchange information with WDI personnel, management, and other Cast Members)
• Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Plasterer 755:

• Experience making and using molds (fiberglass and silicone) highly preferred
• Experience making models
• Experience plastering, applying or carving simulated finishes in plaster (i.e., rock work, wood, stone, brick, etc.)
• Ability to work with fine and sensitive character heads while performing repairs or rehabs

We also provide project support ranging from minor renovations to existing facilities and utilities as well as new construction. *** land Resort consists of a wide variety of facility and occupancy types, including public assembly, retail, storage, warehousing, high-rise hotel and office, residential, commercial cooking, dining, industrial, and special amusement buildings. Systems accountabilities include fire detection and alarm, automatic sprinkler systems, water-based fire protection systems including water supplies and fire pumps, smoke control and smoke management systems, means of egress, exiting, and emergency movement of people and crowds in public assembly, commercial cooking fire protection, special hazards fire protection systems, life safety systems, building automation and controls, and explosion protection. In addition, the position will require an individual that can work in an environment of diverse general engineering knowledge in other areas such as codes, hazardous materials storage, use, and handling; gas detection and alarm systems; elevator, conveyance, and ride safety; pyrotechnics; OSHA and general safety.

What you will do
The Senior Fire Protection Engineer in the Architectural and Facilities Engineering organization provides domain expertise in the following areas: fire protection, life safety, building and fire codes, fire hazard and risk assessment of materials and processes, fire and smoke spread, industrial fire hazards, fire investigation support, and other fire and life safety issues. The core responsibility is providing fire protection engineering support for all lines of business at the *** land Resort.

Job tasks for the Senior Fire Protection Engineer include field engineering support; technical recommendations for inspection, testing, and maintenance; code analysis; systems design and specifications for project support; plans review; fire hazard assessment; system downtime response and solving; investigation, root cause and failure analysis; and general consulting on fire/life safety issues. Design systems including calculations, drawings, and submittals. Review system designs developed by consultants and project design teams for accuracy, compliance with *** standards and guiding principles, quality and completeness. Recommend system improvements, enhancements, and replacements. Proactively interface and consult with Resort lines of business, engineering services teams, and project managers to provide extraordinary engineering support. Provide P.E. sealing of drawings and review design submittals, as necessary.

Required Qualifications (for FPE)

• Bachelor's Degree in Fire Protection Engineering (or a related field with M.S. in FPE)
• Professional Engineer License
• Full awareness w/ solid understanding of California Building & Fire Codes and NFPA Codes & Standards.
• 5+ years of experience in the design and construction of fire protection systems and/or fire protection consulting.
• Excellent communication skills. - Ability to effectively connect with Resort Leadership, Authority Having Jurisdiction, Fire protection vendors, and craft labor.
• Willingness and ability to travel for project support with the possibility of extended durations.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.

Desired Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field and/or MBA.
• Specific experience with theme parks, resort hotels, and mixed-use facilities.
• Knowledgeable in OSHA compliance.
• Knowledge in the use and application of computer modeling tools for fire and smoke spread and timed egress analysis.
• Experience with codes and standards development, including committee involvement (e.g., NFPA, ASTM, ICC, CFR, etc.).
• Experience with fire testing and regulatory application of fire test methods to building materials.
• Experience with FM Global Property loss prevention data sheets.

The hiring range for this position in Anaheim, CA is $102,000.00-$136,700.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.

At *** land ® Resort, a Pruner provides day-to-day tree care for the Resort urban forest, under the direction of an Arboricultural Manager. Duties include maintaining trees and Resort aesthetics in accordance with the appropriate theme of the specific area of the property while ensuring the comfort and safety of our Guests and Cast Members.

Responsibilities:

Climbing:

• Must be able to enter a tree (10 to 150feet) via safe climbing practices under WC-CTW, International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) and ANSI Z133.1 guidelines, as well as safely use an aerial lift under DLR guidelines. Ability to gain proficiency and knowledge of different climbing systems is required

Pruning:

• Must be able to prune young and mature trees using ISA and ANSI Z133.1 pruning standards, as well as *** Show quality standards. Must be capable of safely using hand pruners, pole pruners, hand saws, pole saws and chainsaws to complete the job.

Young Tree Care:

• Planting: Must be able to plant 15-gallon, 120-foot box trees using ISA and ANSI Z133.1 standards. Shoveling, bending, pushing/pulling and lifting (25-100 lbs.) are involved.
• Transplanting: Must be able to box up to a 120-foot root ball. Shoveling, strapping, bending, pushing/pulling and lifting (25-100 lbs).

Staking New Trees:

• Must be proficient in staking, use of a ladder, stake pounder, and other staking tools.

Inventory Maintenance and Inspection:

• Involves tree tagging, tree inspection, recording of data in field and on the Access Database Inventory Program. Must have the ability to understand Arboriculture in regards to tree health and structure defects, as well as the ability to input data into the Access computer program.

Mature Tree Care:

• Cabling and Bracing: Must be familiar with hardware and ISA/ANSI Z133.1 installation guidelines.
• Rigging: Must have the ability to safely perform rigging operations under the standards found in ISA/ANSI Z133.1. Must have the ability to gain proficiency and knowledge of different rigging systems.
• Removals: Must be proficient in safely removing trees (10-150 feet) using tools specified for pruning.

Groundwork:

• Involves safely securing the work area, providing ground assistance to the climber(s) in the tree (knot knowledge), removing and loading, safely reducing the size of debris with a chainsaw, and safe chipper operation under ISA/ANSI Z133.1 standards.

Emergencies:

• Must be able to handle and react to stressful emergency situations within the tree crew, as well as other possible Cast Member or Guest needs. Must be available on an on-call basis 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Job Summary:

As a Senior Mechanical Designer, you will be responsible for the development and sustainment of all mechanical system designs (HVAC, pumping and piping, etc.) supporting the many assets at the *** land Resort. The Senior Mechanical Designer will provide support for the development of from implementation level drawing packages through construction culminating with internal warranty support. Support the development and authoring of proposals as well as cost estimates with critical path schedule dates to support our project management team.
You will work with the Manager, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing/Piping (MEP) Engineering with DLR Architecture & Facilities Engineering (A&FE).

Responsibilities

Leadership:

• In this collaborative role, you will act the company representative on projects from concept through construction at the *** land Resort.
• Perform as the company representative, including witnessing the signing and sealing of construction documents as needed.

Management:

• Lead the design and development of contract documents of projects with in-house and outside resources to meet project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate design activities and monitor field installations and demolition work that align with specifications and code requirements.

Technical Skills:

• Use and build your experience to develop concept designs and RFP's (Request for Proposals).
• Review drawings, engineering calculations, and specifications and ensure that all projects are crafted and implemented to applicable local and state codes and statutes.
• Review shop drawing submittals and respond to vendor's requests for information per Resort standards.
• Site visits to problem address issues and minimize schedule impacts.

Relationship:

• Partner with internal teams to develop, maintain, communicate, and implement *** Company design guidelines, standards, master specifications, and details.
• Assist Project and Design Managers to resolve design compliance issues relating to Projects requirements. Validate that all Item Specifications are consistent with products installed before archiving manuals.
• Build enhanced communications and expectations to successfully execute all projects.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of work experience in related engineering subject area with related field experience.
• Experienced with design, procurement, and construction support.
• Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment to ensure a successful product.
• Minimum of 4 years of AutoCAD
• Experienced with Microsoft Office software, Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam Revu and other related software.
• Intimate with all applicable Federal codes, California energy code (i.e., Title 24)
• Able to develop concepts, further and improve electrical safety practices, and procedures within electrical engineering design, implementation, and provide overall subject area stewardship.

• Kitchen plumbing and piping design, FOG, restrooms, and multi-story lodging

The goal of this position is to complete projects within the approved budget and schedule with the highest quality and most cost-effectively and efficiently.

You Will:
SAFETY:

• Lead overall project safety, acquiring final approval for contractor-submitted safety plans and compliance with the project safety plan. Includes compliance to all regulatory (OSHA) requirements, corporate governance requirements, and Facilities Asset Management (FAM) Standard Operating Guidelines.

PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT:

• Lead all aspects of the development, planning, execution, and closeout of the project throughout the project life. Includes project design, development, implementation, budget, cash flow reporting, and maintaining accurate Estimated Forecast to Complete (EFC) for financial reporting, and maintenance of all job files.

TEAM**** AND COLLABORATION:

• Assemble project teams with internal and external resources to complete all assigned projects and coordinate to ensure that they are working as an integrated team in delivering against project goals.

CONTRACT DEVELOPMENT:

• Provide support for the administration of contracts including the scope of work, unit costing items, bid alternates, and operational constraints required for contract preparation.

PROJECT SCHEDULE:

• Run the project schedule, establishing critical path tasks to ensure schedule compliance and ensuring accurate man-loading requirements of the contractor to achieve the desired completion date.

CLIENT COMMUNICATION:

• Coordinate operational constraints and job goals together to achieve a seamless project, including communication with Partners, Clients, and management regarding project status, schedule, financial and guest impacts.

TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY:

• Technically proficient with various software programs such as construction management software and Microsoft suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Use project and contract management systems in the daily operation of the business.

PROCESS COMPETENCY:

• Handle the change order process within the department guidelines, while updating the project budget and Estimated Forecast to Complete (EFC) based on project-driven cost trends.

You Have:

• Four years of project management/construction management in hospitality, commercial and industrial construction.
• Knowledge of project management process and shown ability to handle a portfolio of projects of more than $6 M annually.
• Knowledge of project accounting, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, document management, best value contracting, contract management, and cost forecasting.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques. Familiarity with all construction applicable codes, i.e., UBC, NEC & UFC.
• Ability to prepare presentations for department management reviews that drive related decisions.
• Outstanding attention to detail and organization skills, as well as problem-solving skills.
• Leadership experience.
• Identify project-related risks and propose mitigation plans.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project management/construction management within a Theme Park environment.

Required Education:

• Four-year college degree (BA / BS) in project/construction management or related field and 4+ years of applicable hands-on project/ construction experience.

Or

• Two years of college and 8+ years of applicable hands-on project/construction experience.

Preferred Education:

• MBA in Project / Construction Management or a related field.

The hiring range for this position in Anaheim, CA is $99,440.00 to $136,730.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographical region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
