Performance Marketing is an internal cross-functional team within The *** *** Marketing organization. The Performance Marketing team uses developing and maturing ad technologies to achieve remarkable data-driven results within auction-based or otherwise addressable *** platforms while supporting other paid *** and marketing efforts with insights, recommendations, and innovative marketing technologies. Performance Marketing includes Marketing Technology and Marketing Science who help drive innovation, but also includes Performance Marketing Strategy & Operations, Marketing Analytics, and Marketing Compliance who ground the overall team in the business. This role falls within the Performance Marketing Strategy & Operations team and will work directly with activation partners to drive value for The *** *** .
Job Responsibilities:
The Performance Marketing team is looking to add a Senior Analyst with a background in performance marketing strategy and operations to ensure performance marketing activations are aligned with overall marketing objectives.
- Work with Senior Team Lead to build and implement performance marketing strategy for a select number of theatrical and streaming titles including operations, optimizations, audiences, pacing, and bids across *** Entertainment Studio Content Marketing campaigns
- Manage, build and implement comprehensive, omni-platform audience data strategy - inclusive of first-party, second-party, and third-party data
- Lead, build and implement auction bid, pacing, and optimization strategies to improve *** performance
- Proactively identify and interpret key *** performance drivers, and deliver insights to optimize spend and performance of *** as aligned with business goals
- Manage ad buying platforms including Google Campaign Manager 360, Search Ads 360, Google DV360, The Trade Desk, etc - as well as work with internal and external sales and ad operations teams associated with each
- Partner effectively with the sales and support teams of ad buying platforms such as Facebook/Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, Google Ads, Google Campaign Manager 360, Search Ads 360, Google DV360, and The Trade Desk
- Implement ongoing, rigorous test and learn cadence to benchmark and improve performance marketing in partnership with Marketing Science and Marketing Analytics to benchmark the performance of current strategies and tactics or to explore and prove out innovative approaches and opportunities
- Interpret, analyze and share analyses and findings from titles, data testing and performance marketing campaigns in partnership with Marketing Science and *** Agency Analytics teams
- Working cross-functionally with multiple internal teams as well as our external *** agency to continuously improve and achieve success across all marketing efforts
- Participate as a member of a cohesive and collaborative, cross-functional Performance Marketing team
- Maintain daily communication with the *** agency performance marketing activation teams in order to ensure accurate implementation of performance marketing campaign
- Support internal teams when necessary with ad hoc projects
- Maintain and share knowledge of *** technology, buying platforms, analytics tools and business processes with pod members and other relevant business partners
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years of Marketing experience to include validated experience in Advertising *** (primarily Digital *** ), *** Analytics or Social/Programmatic Auction Buying
- Experience with ad platforms including DMPs, Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Innovid, LiveRamp and DSPs (Google DV360, Trade Desk, Verizon *** Group)
- Strong analytical skills to include a high proficiency with Excel (Pivot tables, SUMIFs)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of ad technology ecosystem
- Passion for entertainment and The *** *** brands
- Validated ability to lead multiple projects effectively that meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of digital ad serving, tracking and implementation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using SQL
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker
- Experience working with cross functional teams to translate business needs into data requirements
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $124,000 - $166,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
