Overview and Responsibilities:
- Manage sell-in and sell-thru of key softlines and essentials categories at the Target account including apparel & accessories, home, seasonal, food & beverage, and essentials. Responsibilities include both in-store and target.com placement.
- Develop relationships and regularly present information to 50+ buyer and vendor contacts to ultimately grow our business in assigned categories at Target.
- Handle daily communications with Vendor and Retailer partners, including coordinating sales calls/meetings, sharing sales updates internally, and fielding requests for information.
- Manage execution of store-wide, in-department and digital merchandising programs crafted to drive sell-in and sell-through.
- Build and distribute updated vendor lists and sales/brand presentations to key collaborators.
- Maintain frequent communication with internal Lines of Business/Licensing teams on their launch plans and initiatives.
- Identify and elevate white space opportunities to line of business partners.
- Work with the Target sales team to build elevated sales pitches & presentations that tell the story of *** Consumer Products and how our brands help retail partners meet their sales goals. Collaborate closely with Retail Marketing, Franchise, and analytics teams to inform these presentations.
- Work closely with team coordinator to ensure sales data is represented accurately in assigned categories.
Basic Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of experience in the Retail, Licensing, Entertainment, or related field with some knowledge of sales, kid's *** and/or marketing
- Bachelor's Degree OR applicable progressive experience in retail, marketing, creative agency, licensing, consumer products fields may be considered in lieu of education
- Demonstrated understanding of entertainment, categories, and/or the retail industry is a plus

- Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
