Home renovation series is looking for a local Audio Mixer in the Seattle-Tacoma region for a 4-5 month run, which is currently slated for a late-June start. Will likely shoot 4-5 days per week, and use our existing audio package. Experience in the home renovation space is a plus, so please be sure to mention this or any other relevant qualifications you might have, and thanks in advance for your submission. The compensation range is to allow for mutual negotiation between the applicant and the company.

We are looking for a local Sound Mixer to help capture audio for a conference on June 24th.
The day will be about 4-5 hours of work.

Filming of the conference will be held on Monday June 24th from 10am - 12pm.
There will be some allotted set up time before the conference for crew and there will be a one hour portion dedicated to filming interviews after the conference.

Audio

Collaborate with the production team to understand the show's audio requirements.
Set up and configure audio recording equipment, including microphones, mixers, and recorders.
Perform equipment checks to ensure proper functioning and troubleshoot any issues.
Determine the most effective placement of microphones on cast members, ensuring clear and high-quality audio capture.
Adjust microphone levels to account for variations in voice volume.
Monitor live audio feeds during filming to detect and address any technical issues promptly.
Use headphones to assess the quality of the recorded audio in real-time.
Mix and balance audio levels between different microphones to create a cohesive and natural sound.
Maintain clear communication with the FP and production team regarding audio requirements and potential challenges.
Coordinate with other crew members to ensure a seamless integration of audio with video production.
Record high-quality audio tracks during filming, ensuring that all relevant audio is captured.
Ensure that audio recording practices comply with industry standards and regulations.
Hand off audio files to PM and/or Media Manager to ensure files are dropped on to hard drives safely.

Looking for an experienced Sound Mixer for a public television food series we are filming in Michigan on June 30, July 1st & July 2nd. We'll be filming with various food cultivators and chefs around the state (with driving between segments), so must have reliable vehicle.

On June 30th, we'll be filming in the Detroit Area, and on July 1st and 2nd, we'll be filming in the Traverse City Area.

Assuming applicant is based in Detroit, mileage to and from Traverse City will be provided, along with lodging and per diem for July 1st and 2nd. A $400 travel stipend will also be offered for the return drive on July 3rd.

We'll be capturing interviews, b-roll and walk and talks using 3x C70s. Kit must included tentacles to sync up the time code (3 total, 1 per camera), personal mixing/recording gear, a boom mic/pole, 1 IFB and 3 lavs. The rest of the crew will be traveling in, so you may also be asked to help us secure a couple of c-stands and sand bags for the camera team.
