*** is seeking a Daily Hire Motion Graphic Artist to join our creative team. Applicants must be highly creative, innovative, extremely motivated, organized and able to handle creative pressures under crushing deadlines. The successful candidate is able to work well in a team and with a wide range of people and take creative direction from an Art Director or the Creative Director. On some occasions Artists work independently as the situation demands. The artist should be a self-starter who can take on responsibility and follow through.
This role will be covered by the National Association of Broadcast Employees and Technicians - Communication Workers of America - *** collective bargaining agreement.

Responsibilities :
- Conceptualize and design animations, full screens and other templates and digital assets for our *** shows and platforms
- Manage quick turnaround of graphics assets
- Work with editorial teams under tight deadlines conceptualizing and executing design elements
Basic Qualifications :
- Minimum 3 years' experience designing digital elements and/or broadcast graphics
- Experience designing graphics and animations for multiple platforms
- Expert level knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite including After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and 2D technologies and/or Vizrt Viz Artist Real-Time graphics design tool and/or Ross XPression Real-Time design tool.
- Willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in deadline-driven broadcast environment
- Knowledge of 3D software C4D, Maya, XPression, Viz, Viz World Maps
Required Education :
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
The pay rate for this role in New York is $480 per 8 hour day ($60/hr). The base pay actually offered may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
