- Book guests under the deadline pressure of a daily live show
- Track down difficult-to-find people using social *** and other tools
- Work collaboratively with co-workers to determine the best approach to securing high-profile interviews
- Conduct in-depth research and pre-interviews (as well as suggest questions for the host)
- Pitch unique stories and guests of interest to our audience
- Coordinate and produce segments
- Research a wide range of electoral, political, international, and economic topics
**** YOU **** NEED
- Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field of study preferred, or relevant experience
- 3+ years of prior television (or similar) experience
- Ability to work independently or with a larger group as needs dictate
- Experience in a live control room
- Strong writing skills and editorial judgment
- A passion for current events
- Social *** savviness
- Experience with I-News, Viz, and Dalet a plus
