Terms of Service

Misuse of the Staff Me Up Message Feature --> NO Spamming
Users are NOT permitted to use the messaging feature -- or any contact information displayed on Staff Me Up -- to promote a company or service; to request work from a user that they don't personally know; or to engage in any kind of unsolicited contact that results in the recipient of that message complaining of being spammed. Anyone who engages in this manner of activity on Staff Me Up is subject to having his or her account deactivated.

Also, any user sending messages that defame, insult, or lack professional decorum to the discretion of the Staff Me Up administrators are subject to having his or her account deactivated and will not be eligible for a refund.

Entering False or Misleading Credits
If you worked on multiple episodes of a single season of a show, you may not list each episode as a separate credit; you must create one credit for the entire season. Furthermore, any attempt to manipulate the match meter by adding fictitious credits or otherwise misrepresenting your experience for the purpose of increasing your match meter rating is prohibited; the offending credits are subject to removal and the user's account is subject to suspension or deletion.

One Profile per Person
Everyone using Staff Me Up to create a personal Profile may only have ONE account/Profile associated with their Name. Duplicate Profiles will be deleted or merged.

Account De-Activation and/or Removal of Content
We reserve the right to edit or remove any content on our site at our sole discretion, and to deactivate any account at our sole discretion.

The use of automated systems (robots, spiders, or any other data-mining or similar data-gathering and extraction tools) to access, acquire, or download information on the Site is expressly prohibited where such systems are employed in connection with commercial objectives (other than indexing for search engines), or in a fashion that directly or indirectly violates any privacy interests.

Job Posting
  • The rate on each Job Posting must be at or above minimum wage in the state which is indicated on that Job Posting.
  • Each Job Posting must be posted to fill an actual open position with a specific start date. For example, a Job Posting requesting an applicant's "general interest" or willingness to be included on a "roster" for future reference will not be approved.
  • Openings for the same position, start date, and city must be posted as a single Job Posting. For example, if two PAs are needed for two different openings on the same shoot, only one Job Posting for this position in this location will be approved; the job description on that Job Posting can elaborate on the differences, if any, between the two PA openings.
  • Only one position may be indicated on each Job Posting. For example, a Job Posting cannot be phrased as a "crew call" requesting applications for a variety of open positions; instead, each open position must be posted as a separate Job Posting.
  • A Job Posting that directs Staff Me Up users to a third-party URL in order to apply to a job, or to submit a resume or contact information, will not be approved.
  • We require productions to be insured over the length of the production with insurance that covers Employee Benefits Liability and Workers Compensation.
  • Currently Staff Me Up does not allow jobs to be posted for companies that produce or distribute pornographic video content.
  • Hires made via Staff Me Up must be compensated within the agreed terms between the Applicant and Job Poster.
PAYMENTS ARE NONREFUNDABLE AND THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS FOR PARTIALLY USED PERIODS. Following any cancelation, however, you will continue to have access to the service through the end of your current billing period. At any time, and for any reason, we may provide a refund, discount, or other consideration to some or all of our members ("credits"). The amount and form of such credits, and the decision to provide them, are at our sole and absolute discretion. The provision of credits in one instance does not entitle you to credits in the future for similar instances, nor does it obligate us to provide credits in the future, under any circumstance.
