An award-winning television production company based in New York City is seeking an Executive Assistant. The position is in-person (five days per week) and located in Soho. Salary range is $48-52K.
Responsibilities:
Manage calendar for company executive and occasionally support other executives with meetings
Draft, review and send communications on behalf of company executive
Answer and respond to phone calls and email; communicate messages and information
Coordinate travel and lodging arrangements as necessary
Plan and organize events such as screenings, company retreats, and film festival receptions
Work collaboratively with other team members and executives
Perform on-site services for live events including coordinating access, credentials and hosting talent
Maintain various records and documents for company executive
Support the Development team as needed by researching, building pitch decks, and writing treatments
Reconcile receipts and track company expenses
Direct summer internship programs for high school/college students
Be available during occasional nights and weekends, per executive’s schedule
Requirements and Skills:
EXCEPTIONAL organizational, communication and writing skills
Calendar management and scheduling experience
High attention to detail
Self-sufficient and proactive approach to work
Ability to interact and build relationships with colleagues, clients, and creative types
Occasional travel based on show and live event needs
A valid driver’s license
Based in the New York City area, or willing to relocate
Proficient in Mac OS and Google Suite
Preferred (but not required) Qualifications
1-2 years experience supporting C-Suite executive
Prior experience in the television or film industry
A strong interest in documentary and unscripted television
A voracious consumer of news/magazines, longform storytelling, podcasts, etc.
Journalism experience
