JOB:
Equipment Manager
Looking for a super OCD, experienced, Uber organized equipment manager to come in and overhaul long running doc series camera and lighting equipment storage room.
Job requires /you must be able to:
-Organize equipment/multiple field packages and create inventory for all show gear
-Create new system for/and track all gear/packages going in and out of the office into the field
-Maintain gear in office, keeping all equipment batteries charged, cleaning, testing, etc
-Prep equipment before shoots for the AC's and assemble the packages
-Communicate with rental houses for replacement equipment as needed quickly and efficiently
-Coordinate shipping emergency replacement gear and/or any gear needed in the field
-Receive field gear packages from the AC's upon it returning from shoots, inventory each package noting anything missing or damaged and immediately research/track down lost items and issue replacements immediately
Camera/Lighting Rental house experience a HUGE plus!!!!
This is a perma-lance position thru the length of the show (8-10 months) with probability of continuing into following seasons.
The position will often require WEEKEND hours as we have multiple shoots going out simultaneously throughout the week and weekends as well as being on call for the AC's/shoots in the field weekends and evenings.
Must be local to New York.
Must have a valid drivers license.
And ofcourse, Must have a great attitude, be diligent, hard working and super detail oriented and organized.
Rate is a flat weekly and commensurate with experience.
