DESCRIPTION:
The Director of Multiplatform Marketing will bridge the gap *** ween our current creative services and our storytelling teams - overseeing unit of combined resources. This role will report directly to VP of News & Creative Content and will be responsible for increasing engagement on all screens, through a non-traditional approach to marketing content across platforms. This role will be highly engaged in storytelling, from concept creation to execution while strategically leveraging all screens to drive viewer consumption. The ideal candidate for this position is a true champion of cross-trained teams, finding success by strategically leveraging shared resources for topical linear production, digital marketing and producing special content (including but not limited to: story series, specials, community engagement experiences).

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Works with VP of News & Creative Content and General Manager to stand up station identity and develop brand to be delivered on all screens.
• Manages team of promotions manager, topical producers, special projects unit
• Works with news managers, ensuring digital producers leverage assets to market content on all screens.
• Works with promotions manager to identify priority topical content and oversees overall execution across screens.
• Oversees production of station promotional campaigns
• Works with VP of News & Creative Content and General Manager to develop strategic plan for community engagement.
• Works closely with station EPIC, identifying marketing opportunities through community events and engagement.
• Works with the special projects EP and EP of Impacting Communities to drive strategy behind selection, production and placement of special/community/non-traditional news content.
• Drives cross-collaboration *** ween creative team and news, participating in daily editorial discussions and managing approach to market stories for all screens.
• Supports promotion manager in maintaining daily brand marketing strategy, identifying path for field crews to raise awareness about their stories and leveraging cross-trained staff to effectively produce marketing material.
• Develop platform-specific strategic plan, leveraging data and analytics through experimentation.
• Work closely with Director of Research and Digital Managing Editor to develop KPI understanding among content creators.
• Responsible for growing digital consumption and minutes spent viewing content, by successfully marketing content on all screens.
• Grow the funnel, offering snackable content on digital platforms, feeding back viewers into the linear space.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proven track record of applying a strategic approach to digital marketing.
• Experience leading special projects units, and building marketing strategies around storytelling.
• Proven experience increasing viewership on stream/OTT platforms.
• Proven track record streamlining production workflows.
• Experience with experimentation in formats and shooting styles, willingness to break the traditional mindset and storytelling mold.
• Extensive experience building brands, identifying effective messaging & visuals to grow an audience on non-traditional platforms.
• Minimum 5 years experience working in medium to large *** markets, managing a creative services and/or special projects unit.

This position will install, document and support projects and systems related to the RF distribution of television broadcast signals. This will include television transmitters and microwave relay systems as well as associated IP-based transport and control systems. Other duties include assistance with installation and support of all types of television broadcast equipment and systems as needed.

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years experience in an RF related field. Must have familiarity with the installation and design of television transmitters, broadcast microwave systems, transmitter remote control systems and general RF principles. A background in IT related skills including basic network configuration is preferred.

Good project management and communication skills required. Must be able to travel on a regular basis.

This position will report to the Sr. Director of Engineering RF Systems.

This person will work closely with the Executive Producer to develop and refine the look and feel of the morning broadcast.

The director will work with producers, graphic artists and technical build and execute the day's rundown. The ability to read into a segment, provide guidance on graphics as well as blocking each segment to add pacing and interest is a must. The director will attend editorial meetings and pitch ideas on how to complete segments beyond the morning hours the show is on the air. Hiring Salary Range: $300,000.00 - 400,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. The Director of Creative Talent Pathways, Representation & Inclusion Strategies (RISE) will lead the Launchpad team to execute another successful season of the *** Launchpad Shorts Incubator, oversee filmmaker labs for underrepresented directors, producers, and writers in partnership with non-profits, manage our charitable budget, and work closely with the executive RISE team. This successful leader possesses a broad understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the industry, the film and entertainment business, the filmmaking process, the creative talent pool, and has robust program and people management experience.

This is a seven-month Project Hire position from June to December 2024 without any guarantee of permanent placement. It is to backfill the current Director who will be on leave.
Responsibilities:

• Manage the *** Launchpad Sr. Program Manager/Producer and guide their work on the third season of the *** Launchpad Shorts Incubator, in partnership with *** Live Action and 20th Century *** physical production, creative executives across the company, RISE executives, HR, labor relations, legal, marketing and communications, senior leadership, and many others.   • Share priorities to Launchpad Sr. Manager from executives who are key stakeholders in Launchpad (from the head of RISE, President of Production Services/RISE/Planning/Franchise Management, and others)
  • Selection Process: Review hundreds of scripts and short films over several months to determine semi-finalists for Launchpad, in collaboration with the Launchpad team of two. Assess scripts and short films for quality, budget scope, and consistency with the *** brand. In particular, this person will have a strong understanding of the *** brand and will ensure the shorts are a brand fit.
  • Work with the Launchpad team to share semi-finalists with RISE executives as needed to ensure alignment with finalist selection.
  • Finalist interviews: Work closely with the Launchpad team to organize finalist interviews with key stakeholders (including creative executive mentors, physical production, etc.) to select the Launchpad season three filmmakers.
  • Participate in interviews, aid in matchmaking writers with directors, and select filmmakers for season three.
  • Work with Communications teams on announcements as needed.
  • Work on any program needs regarding contracts or script development if timeline requires it.
  • Aid in alumni job placement work with *** Launchpad Program Manager.
• As needed, manage and lead other filmmaker labs in partnership with non-profits like Sundance, Film Independent, and Athena Film Festival. Lead Sundance relationship on behalf of RISE to follow up on setting general meetings with creative executives and grantees.
• Manage charitable budget for RISE, working very closely with Corporate Social Responsibility, DEI teams across the company, Studio Communications, and others. Lead work with external organizations/no *** ofits. Participate in cross-company meetings as needed.
• Maintain strong external relationships with organizations running underrepresented filmmaker labs and developing talent, schools, and other organizations like NALIP, Gotham Film Institute & *** , Gold House, Women in Animation, Easterseals, AFI, USC, and others.
• Execute RISE strategies and company priorities with strong collaboration with the RISE executive team and other executive leaders.

Basic Qualifications:

• Eight to ten years of work experience either as a live-action director or producer, creative executive, or running filmmaker labs/grants for writers, directors, and producers through a major studio, tech *** company, production company, or leading filmmaker organization/non-profit in the industry.
• Deeply understands the creative process and how to make a live-action short film or feature film from development through post-production.
• Has an exceptional ability to judge a script and live-action short film for quality, budget scope, and consistency with the *** brand.
• Minimum people management experience of two years.

The hiring range for this position in California is $180,100 to $241,500 per year. What you'll do:

Define and drive the implementation of the Change Management Strategy and Plan, that would support identification and analysis of change adoption risks and implementation of counter measures.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive change management strategy for the organization.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure successful organizational change.
• Identify and assess the scope of change initiatives and develop plans accordingly.
• Identify and assess potential risks associated with change management initiatives.
• Monitor and evaluate the progress and success of change management initiatives.
• Lead meetings to identify, plan, and implement change initiatives.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate change management activities and results.

What you'll need:

• Minimum 10 years of related experience in a large and complex organization
• 8+ years of specific experience managing and executing on change management strategies and initiatives.

• Drive a strategy across all aspects of Workplace to create consistency across the region and leverage our scale for procuring goods & services.
• Sourcing strategy for outsourced workplace services, including Janitorial, Logistics, F&B, Maintenance - leverage the subject-matter expertise of our vendors and drive accountability.
• As a member of the global Workplace leadership team, lead strategic initiatives to improve our global workplace excellence.
• Financial management of workplace costs (including people cost) to ensure *** money is being spent wisely.
• Collaborate & align with cross-functional partners such as Security, Talent, EHS, AV, Ntech Ops, Events, Security Operations and Systems to ensure we are constantly providing a frictionless, safe & secure workplace and responding to incidents that will occur 24/7.
• Develop and manage a strong communication strategy on all levels to ensure cohesive engagement across all sites.

Requirements:

• Proven leadership experience and crazy focus on excellence is a must.
• Expertise in operations management, including development of workplace standards and sourcing strategies.
• Ability to think innovatively to create the best experience for our employees from a workplace services and operations perspective.
• 10+ years in a similar role, must include management of multiple corporate buildings and be inclusive of both facilities and leadership experience
• Travel up to 25% as needed, including International. Regularly visiting all UCAN locations will be critical for this role.

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $310,000 - $830,000.
