Looking for rock star producer with a minimum of two years experience in true crime recre genre.

OVERVIEW:
Position includes working in the office to prep cases and then travel to various locations around the US to conduct detailed interviews and shoot pertinent b-roll to story.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Read all available materials on case
- Finalize and pre-interview booked interviews
- Locate and do additional outreach for interviewees if necessary
- Write outline in Discovery ID fashion - twists and turns, act outs
- Work with showrunner to address notes on outline
- Travel to multiple locations to conduct interviews. Must have experience working with victims of violent crime and law enforcement
- Oversee b-roll shoots
- Secure archival materials available in the field - crime scene photos, family photos, interrogation video

Should position go into Post, you would be in charge of the your episodes - addressing notes, getting to time, re-writing narration, pulling archival, fact checking, addressing legal notes.

The Producer will be responsible for the development and production of news packages needed for different newscasts.

Responsibilities:

• Research, write and produce strong editorial copy and packages with speed and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

• Pitch the most relevant, timely and compelling ideas for day-of and future segments.
• Quality checks all video content and keep Executive Producer and Line Producer up to date with daily news development of assigned stories.
