*** Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the *** Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the *** Network's national content.

*** 5 DC / *** 5 Plus, the #1 news station in Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia with the most hours of local news and entertainment, is looking for an exceptional creative services producer to conceptualize, write, and produce dynamic promotional content and campaigns for our wide array of products and platforms. Candidates must have experience showcasing their work on various platforms such as broadcast, social, digital, OTT, VOD, connected TV and more. *** 5 DC's campaigns promote our programming while reinforcing, elevating, and expanding the *** 5 brand and image. As a *** 5 creative services producer, you will be a member of a top 10 market Creative Services team that is widely recognized for producing the best, most effective, engaging, and high quality promotional content for our viewing community across all platforms.

JOB SUMMARY: The creative services producer is a talented and nimble visionary, storyteller, writer, and editor who is able to use and adapt these skills as needed. They must effectively communicate a desired message to audiences who receive their news, information, and related marketing content via a variety of platforms. *** 5 creative services producers take the lead on and are responsible for their projects from conception to completion. This includes pitching ideas to management, coordinating and directing video and still photography shoots, interacting with a variety of personnel at the Station, departments, outside vendors, and more. Additional responsibilities include creating promotional materials for Sales, logging/scheduling promos, contributing to the Daily *** 5 newsletter, attending/working on a number of public audience engagement events like *** 5 Ziptrip, and other duties as assigned.
**** YOU ARE BRINGING: Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting, Communications, Marketing or related field. Minimum three (3) years promotions experience in a top 20 market. Strong writing & communication skills. Exceptional creativity in the development of compelling marketing materials, promos for all mediums including broadcast (TV/Radio), digital, and print. Must have knowledge of all aspects of production, including lighting, photo, video, and print composition, directing video/print shoots. Must be proficient with Adobe Premiere and the entire Adobe Creative Suite. Candidates must have impeccable attention to detail and time management/organizational skills for a fast-paced and deadline driven production environment. Must be self-motivated and effectively work independently and as a team member.
