JOB DESCRIPTION
We're hiring an Executive Producer to lead the team behind LiveNOW from *** , *** TV Stations' national live streaming news product. We are focused on bringing users the most relevant and engaging live news coverage occurring right now across the country and the world, seamlessly moving *** ween the biggest events and stories as they happen. LiveNOW from *** is always raw, live and unfiltered, with limited commentary and no opinion.

Reporting to the Director of Content, the Executive Producer will lead a team of Digital Journalists and producers responsible for creating 119+ hours of live national news coverage every week. This position is based at our east coast LiveNOW headquarters in Orlando, Florida.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee production of LiveNOW and manage its editorial staff, including digital journalists and producers. Lead editorial process, helping to cultivate ideas and prioritize resources. Responsible for all editorial decisions. REQUIREMENTS: 5+ years' experience and demonstrated success in a news leadership role with an emphasis on connected TV/streaming preferred. 3+ years' experience managing and motivating a staff of 10 or more employees preferred.BA/BS degree, preferably in Journalism, Communications or related field. Senior Producer

**** 2/CW18, the *** affiliate in the Orlando, FL market has an opening for an experienced, take-charge senior producer who knows how to create memorable newscasts. This position will hopefully be a stepping stone into an executive producer role. The right candidate will have a track record of being creative and aggressive with breaking news. This person must work well under deadlines and have the ability to make decisions and communicate the plan in a clear manner. We are looking for an experienced producer to lead our weekend evening newscast production. This person will produce our weekend 10pm newscast on CW18 and oversee the producer in charge of the weekend 6pm and 11pm newscasts on **** 2. We expect excellent news judgment, flexibility, and a positive, can-do attitude. Candidates must have a proven track of aggressive breaking news coverage and strong story selection. Job Description

*** Orlando is currently looking for a Multi *** Journalist (MMJ) with a comprehensive understanding of television news production, with an outstanding writing and verbal communications skills. Individual must also have knowledge of the various editing systems, and camera operation.

• This individual will be responsible for shooting, writing, creating and editing original news stories; gather information for news stories using beat sources, contacts and leads. Contribute to building the daily rundown.

This is a perfect position for an experienced producer to manage the editorial content, staff for assigned newscasts and web site and social *** platforms by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise the activities of the weekend news staff according to company policy and guidelines.
• Work independently, effectively and with minimal oversight from management to communicate goals and assignments to newscast team. Help team members' process and prioritize information clearly and accurately in a stressful, fast-paced, and distracting environment that includes deadline pressures and breaking news.

Local News Associate Producer

Requirements & Skills:

Job Description

*** News Digital is looking for a talented producer to join its Digital Docs and Enterprise team. This new role will report to a Senior Producer and will create innovative, mid-form and long-form, in-depth news stories for *** News. We're looking for a strong editorial producer who sees the digital doc, video forensics, and long-form narrative opportunities in a hard news cycle. They should have a knack for knowing how to report and tell stories that will breakout and resonate well beyond a fast-moving news cycle and know how to distill editorial complexity into the video medium.

This role requires experience in reporting, pre-production, shooting, field producing, scripting, putting together radio cuts, overseeing and collaborating with video editors, working with the motion graphics team, and fact-checking your video pieces. Additionally, the producer will collaborate with correspondents, reporters, and editors throughout the organization, so should be well-versed in how to do so effectively. The candidate should have strong news instincts, a proven track record of success producing original reporting, impeccable editorial judgment, and creativity in their video pieces.This is an exciting opportunity to work with an iconic *** brand and flex creativity as we create docu-style content which airs on many of our platforms including *** News.com, *** , and *** News NOW.

Responsibilities

• Pitch and develop original story ideas
• Produce stories under deadline and sometimes under tight turnarounds
• Creative vision to conceptualize a longform story from preproduction through post-production
• Research, report and develop strong editorial stories identifying the most compelling interview subjects and editorial points
• Strong pre-production and field producing skills
• Well-versed in crafting strong scripts that include a solid structure, story arc, character development and hit the key editorial notes
• Oversee the editing process for video stories, including collaborating with the editors and motion graphics team
• Solid grasp of how to fact-check a video story
• Produce all the video assets to accompany the videos when they rollout such as social cuts and assets for marketing and PR, as needed
• Work with Standards & Legal Team to ensure Editorial Standards of all segments
• Develop robust working relationships with correspondents, reporters, and editors across the *** News to collaborate on stories
• Maintain a real-time grasp of current events and ongoing coverage on *** News platforms
• Keep a pulse on production styles that could be leveraged for news video stories

• Minimum 6 years experience producing midform/ longform high-impact video for a major news organization
• Strong news judgment and excellent writing, research, interviewing and communication skills
