What You'll Do

Shares knowledge with other members of the team

Prepares and reports scenario planning and cost projections, including estimating various regional tax incentives.

Provides guidance on accounting matters to Production Management

Responsible for accurate month end financial reporting, project forecasts to be included in the consolidated ILM Forecasts and Plan, and maintaining records for audit and variance explanation.

Prepares and presents quarterly project status presentations for Executive management and show key creatives.

Prepares routine weekly and ad hoc financial reporting to Exec Producers, Producers, and Executives.

Prepares billing detail and information for invoicing on contracts and rebillable projects.

Works with other ILM departments including Business Affairs, Talent Management, General Accounting, FP&A, Technology, etc

Is an active participant in the global finance department by providing input and taking on projects to improve processes and enforce best practices.

The Production Finance Accounting Clerk supports the SVP Production Finance, liaises with film productions, and processes payments thru internal *** U systems. Reconcile cash actuals for Production Finance for submission to the FP&A group

The Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Global Reporting and Consolidations team is seeking a qualified Financial Analyst to join their team in New York or Los Angeles. The role is focused on consolidating and reporting for the DTC Segment, with exposure to the streaming business and all P&L accounts. Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant will include posting of cash receipts, outgoing payments, check processing and GL reconciliations. A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Record daily bank deposits, outgoing wire transfers, and various cash journal entries into accounting system
Prepare weekly outgoing payment reconciliation for finance
Prepare Bank reconciliations on a weekly basis
Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation in accordance with US GAAP for each month-end close
Work with relevant departments to ensure that all checks and outgoing wires issued have been recorded
Assist in year-end audits, including audit support schedules and related requests
Assist in providing cash forecasts to finance
