We are a large media company looking for a production accountant in the video department.

The ideal candidate must:

Work closely with video department to maintain consistent and regular financial cost reporting and forecasting across individual projects as well as platforms and/or channel. Assist FP&A with establishing and managing department cash flow.

Ensure that all expenses are accurately reconciled toward intended project. Facilitate and process reclasses where applicable for cross project and cross department expenses to ensure the cleanest and most accurate reporting possible.

Act as liaison between production and accounting to help manage vendor relations when needed. Assist in transactional accounts payable situations when needed.
Ensure production, finance and legal compliance is met prior to payments, where appropriate.

Help advise production teams on accounting best practices and suggest workflow optimization.

Must have experience working directly with production (broadcast or digital). Must be accustomed to production timelines, terminology, and industry standard practices for processes. Knowledge of freelancer payroll, production cards, petty cash, etc is a must. Must also have experience working within production accounting software.

This Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of the Pricing & Revenue Management department and performs detailed financial analyses of attendance trends and forecasts to make strategic recommendations for ticket pricing and product offerings. Qualifications
